Gölge Değirmen (Shadow Mill)
Inspired by the cyclical motion of traditional stone mills, this design transforms the act of rotation around its axis into a spatial experience. Through this continuous movement, the structure remains in constant shade, merging the timeless quality of natural stone with the play of light and shadow. It offers not only a functional space of relief but also a symbolic reference to the cultural memory of production. Shadow Mill becomes a poetic interpretation where the cyclical essence of stone resonates with everyday life.
The Module
Formed by multiple stone modules and assembled through wooden connectors, this design proposes a flexible and pluralistic spatial system. The modules can function both as an artistic composition and as a practical landscape element. While creating shaded shelters for animals, they also provide diverse seating arrangements and areas for social interaction. The Module unites the permanence of stone with the adaptability of wood, resulting in a replicable and versatile structure that harmonizes with nature and responds to varying human and environmental needs.
Gölge Değirmen
Taş değirmenlerin döngüsel hareketinden ilham alan tasarım, kendi ekseni etrafında dönme fikrini mekânsal bir deneyime dönüştürür. Bu döngü, sürekli gölgede kalmayı sağlayarak doğal taşın zamansız niteliği ile ışık-gölge oyununu bir araya getirir. Böylece ziyaretçilere hem işlevsel bir serinleme alanı hem de geçmişin üretim kültürüne gönderme yapan sembolik bir mekân sunar. Gölge Değirmen, taşın döngüselliğini gündelik yaşamla buluşturan şiirsel bir yorumdur.
The Module
Taş modüllerden oluşan ve ahşap bağlantı elemanlarıyla farklı biçimlerde bir araya gelebilen bu tasarım, esnek ve çoğulcu bir mekânsal kurgu önerir. Modüller, hem sanatsal bir düzenleme hem de işlevsel bir peyzaj elemanı olarak kullanılabilir. Hayvanlar için gölgelik alanlar yaratırken, kullanıcılar için farklı oturma düzenleri ve sosyal etkileşim mekânları sağlar. The Module, doğal taşın ağırlığı ve kalıcılığını ahşabın esnekliğiyle buluşturarak, doğayla uyumlu, çoğaltılabilir ve farklı ihtiyaçlara cevap verebilen bir sistem sunar.
