Located within a dense landscape of trees and water, Dwelling of the Dervish is shaped by a desire to coexist with its natural context rather than transform it. The project preserves the existing trees, lake, stream, and topography, allowing the architecture to settle quietly into the landscape.
Following the natural traces between the trees and the flow of water, the building is positioned as a gentle continuation of the site. Its two-level organization places service spaces on the lower level and living areas above, creating a clear spatial hierarchy while strengthening the relationship between architecture, land, and nature.
Yoğun ağaç dokusu ve mevcut su sistemi içinde konumlanan Dwelling of the Dervish, doğal bağlamı dönüştürmek yerine onunla birlikte var olma fikriyle şekillenir. Proje; mevcut ağaçları, göleti, dereyi ve topografyayı koruyarak mimarinin peyzaja sessizce yerleşmesini amaçlar.
Yapı, ağaçlar arasındaki doğal izleri ve suyun akışını takip ederek araziye yerleşir. İki kotlu mekânsal kurguda servis alanları alt seviyede, yaşam alanları ise üst seviyede konumlanır. Böylece yapı; kullanım hiyerarşisini netleştirirken mimari, arazi ve doğa arasındaki ilişkiyi güçlendirir.
